Henry has been playing for Canterbury in New Zealand domestic cricket since 2011. He made his first-class cricket debut in the 2010-11 Plunket Shield season, against Wellington in March 2011.
International Career
Matt Henry made his international debut for New Zealand on 31 January 2014, with an ODI match against India.
In the 2015 Cricket World Cup, he was not picked in the final squad of 15. But he was selected as a replacement for Adam Milne in the semi-final match against South Africa at Eden Park. He showed serious pace in the final, taking 2 wickets of David Warner and Michael Clarke.
